The United nations
Human Rights
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights exhibit within the United Nations showcased a lot of printed material such as pictures and books all about freedom and everyone being equal. The room was filled and there was so much to read and look at. I believe in all basic human rights and that everyone inherits human rights right as they are born, so seeing this exhibit was very interesting. I hope that mostly everyone has the same opinion as me when it comes to human rights, everyone has the freedom of thought, speech and expression. I am a strong believer when it comes to the human rights laws. Everyone in this world should have the right to work, eat, speak and get an education because no one in this world is born any more superior than another. This hit close to home because my grandma would always talk about the 30 human rights stated in the Universal Declaration because she to was also very passionate about equality and everyone getting the same chance in the world. My favorite part of the exhibit was seeing various forms of pictures and paintings about human rights, especially ones done by little kids. This was a special exhibit that I enjoyed visiting because it was something I’m really passionate about and it was a nice way for the United Nation to celebrate their 70th anniversary.
