ELIZABETH NEMBHARD

I am Elizabeth, well Liz for short. I am a funny, independent and ambitious. My favorite color is pink - the best color ever. I live in Westchester but Mount Vernon to be precise. I don’t really have a hobby, but I always hangout with my best friend Nazayah. Our birthdays are thirteen days apart. We're the same sign, and we completely understand one another. I have no siblings, and yes, I am totally spoiled. Since I was young, I wanted to have a career in fashion. My mom and I, every Saturday, would go to the Westchester mall and the Galleria matching clothes together creating outfits. On Friday’s, my mom and I binge watch fashion runway while eating ice cream, chips just a variety of snacks. We act as the judges. My mom is Tim Gunn I am Heidi Klum.

SIERRA JOYCE

Sierra Joyce is a 18 year old girl from a small town, New Fairfield, Connecticut. Her favorite things to do are shop, hang out with friends and go to concerts. She loves country living and city living. She was a cheerleader for 13 years. She has been vegan for 8 months and is loving it! She enjoys yoga and working out to release her stress, along with a lot of shopping. She is Filipino and Irish and has been to the Philippines 4 times. Her favorite clothing brands are LF, Zara and Urban Outfitters, and she is so excited to be at LIM college in the city!

Hi, this is Arti. I have to admit, I love taking selfies, even in the public area. I come from Xinjiang, China, west part of China. I like to take Insta pictures, in my free time, and shopping. I guess I've started to pay close attention to fashion brands - try to look cute. I've been interested in make-up for 2 years. I'm still learning how to do make-up properly. I used to have a dream, which is be a make up artist, and it exists now. I’m currently living in Manhattan, moving to Long Island City soon.

JENNIFER SERRANO

Good day, or evening to whomever may be reading. My name is Jennifer Serrano. I am 18 years old and an Ecuadorian American, who was born in Queens New York but was sadly raised in the suburbs of New Jersey. I say sadly because despite the fact that I’m sort of quiet, I have always known I belong in a big city, and that is why I am enrolled in LIM college. Lastly, a few fun facts about me: I love fashion and beauty, and I am also passionate about the environment and have been vegan for 2 years.`










LUCIA VELASQUEZ

My name is Lucia Velasquez. I am from New Jersey, however nationality wise I’m Central American. I’m currently 18 year of age and living in N. I love to shop, as well as be active playing sports or swimming. Something that’s very interesting about me is that I’ve gone away to live in Italy for a whole semester to study the Italian language. I did this my sophomore year of high school. As of right now, I believe that experience has forever changed my life. In the aspects that it made me realize how beautiful it is to travel and meet new people.

KIARA SUTSON

Hello! My name is Kiara Sutson. I am 19 years old. I grew up in a small town, Lynnfield, and if you do not know where that is located it’s 10 minutes away from Boston, Massachusetts. I was blessed enough to have a big family, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 2 parents and 2 step-parents. One thing I always taught by my amazing family is to love first and make sure you work hard for what you want in life, which is why I ended up in New York City. One of my dreams was always was to eventually go to school for fashion in NYC, and here I am finally accomplishing it. My love for clothes and the fashion industry is unmatched, and I truly believe that I was never committed to anything more in life than accomplishing my goals.

Managing your way in a new environment, that is the world of college, can be difficult for a first timer. But being a city boy all his life and growing up just twenty minutes from the concrete jungle of New York City, this would be second nature to me, or at least it should be like a second nature to me? Nevertheless, I know if I ever feel lonely and lost in my mind, I can always count on going to the village and sitting down at a bench at Washington Square Park to clear my thoughts and get a sense of independency.

MUKULLU NDETTO 

This is me: Mukullu Wambui Ndetto from Nairobi, Kenya. I was born on the fourth month of a new century, thus making me an Aries. I am bilingual as I can speak more than two languages that being; Swahili, English and my mother tongue Kamba. I love taking pictures and New York has the best scenery for this and cooking, modeling, yoga and listening to music. Music is one thing I can always lean on. I listen to it all the time, whatever mood I am in, I will listen. I mainly listen to African music, Pop, Rap, basically everything but Country. I am a lady of many characters.

NATALIE MISETIC 

Hey! My name is Natalie Misetic. I live Astoria, Queens, and I’m a freshman at LIM College majoring in Fashion Marketing. On my free time, I love to listen to music, bake, and hang out with my friends at a local coffee house. I’ve been a dancer for my church's Croatian folklore group for about twelve years. While in this group, we have traveled across the United States and some parts of Canada. I have a deep admiration for animals especially tigers and dogs. Sadly, I don't have a dog, but I hope in the near future I can sit outside on my balcony drinking coffee with my four furry friends right by my side. I would describe myself as a loving, passionate, and funny person who just wants to have fun because there's only one life to live and might as well make the best of it. I usually don't like describing myself on paper. I’d rather do it in person and actually get to know someone face to face. On that note, many people characterize my way of thinking as “old-fashioned” because I always daydream about meeting a guy who would bring flowers on a first date and not doing everything on the computer. Well that's about all I can say, if anyone would like to get to know me better, they're free to as I would welcome them with open arms.

OLIVIA SCARLETT RUSSELL 

Hey, my name is Olivia Scarlett Russell, but my friends call me Liv. I am 18 years old and come from Manchester, England. I am the eldest of four children, with the youngest being one. I love spending time with my friends as well as now face-timing my friends from home. I previously went to boarding school for two years, which I really enjoyed and found that it really helped prepare me for moving here. I am a huge series, movies and Netflix fan and love listening to music old and new as well as attending concerts. I also enjoy shopping and watching red carpets, especially The Met Ball.

NELLY VIAU 

Hi, my name is Anne Emmanuelle Viau, but I also go by Manou or Nelly. I was born in Miami, Florida but soon after moved to Haiti, where my family lives. I moved back to Miami after an earthquake struck Haiti ten years later. I speak French, English, and Haitian Creole. I have a half brother name Mario, and a puppy names Martini. I have always been interested in the fashion industry. I love going to music festivals, traveling, and shopping. My favorite place on earth is Mykonos, Greece. I am very free spirited, and I love adventures.

DILA IDDAMALOGODAGE 

Hello, my name is Nethma Iddamalgodage, however, I prefer Dila. I am an eighteen years old girl who just recently started college. I am attending LIM College, Where Business Meets Fashion located in Manhattan, New York. I commute to school every day from Staten Island, New York and it is very very very stressful. I'm looking into apartments in the city now because of this insane commute. With that, at home, I have two siblings: one older sister who resides at Oneonta, New York and one younger brother who resides with me, both of whom I love tremendously despite their annoyance. My lovely parents, whom both originated from Sri Lanka, which I just recently visited on my summer break and it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Other than that, there's not much to say about me other than that I am a young girl living my best life trying to pursue something in what I love the absolute most: fashion. All things clothes, textures, displays everything down to the itty bitty thought of the design I love. Although I do enjoy sitting in bed and binge watching Friends, I guess you could say Id give it all up for the drive I have to become something in this fashion industry. With that, this is me, Nethma Iddamalgodage also known as Dila.

CORA ROCHA 

My name is Cora Nina Rocha. I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on August 14, 1999. When I was 3 years old, my parents moved to a small town near New York, and when I turned 5 we moved back to Brazil. I love Brazilian culture, samba, pagode, funk, sertanejo and many other musical styles they offer. Even though Brazil is a huge part of me, I am very excited to be starting college in New York, my second home.

I’m from China. I want to compare myself to a flower, a cold and cheerless flower, a pure white flower. I want to compare myself to a glass of water, no edges and corners. I don't want to show explicitly that I hate something or someone. I'm never satisfied with myself, perhaps inferiority complex, maybe I am a perfectionist. I know I'm selfish. I only think about myself and some people I care about. I look forward to the future and love, but also have some fear. I know I want to be a better self, before I meeting the best future and the right person.

COREIONE ALEXANDER 

I’m Coreione Alexander. 18 years of age. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm studying at LIM College-where business meets fashion located in New York City. I'm pursuing my major in fashion merchandise. I want to pursue my career of becoming a celebrity fashion stylist. I grew up originally from New Orleans, didn’t really stay in other states, so I was nervous about taking a big step to New York City without my family. I’m still struggling with this fear, but sometimes you have to overcome your fear to come what you want to be in life. When I was younger, I always had a different style from others and other people noticed me, but I never really paid attention how I would stand out and be different. As time passed over the years, I realized I started getting a taste for fashion and I wanted to pursue this career. I was always on the dance team, sleeping, or even listening to music, living a boring life and doing the same thing back to back. I'm a hardworking person, and I strive for dedication. I have struggles, and I cried and sometimes wanted to give up and go back to my boring life, but I had people looking up to me, even my little sister. I couldn’t give up. I’ve always wanted to follow my dreams, even if I just wanted to give up.
